the gun went kind of slow when i dragged it fast. I suggest you use less gradients in your game because it slows down the flash.

theres something you didnt mention that is very important in optimizing sound... thats streaming. you seem pretty new to flash too. and all you make is tutorials. and why do you have a jpeg as a button. you definitely could have done a lot better on this tutorial and taught more... but i guess that will be on your next tutorial since thats what you do right?

Your series is great. I usually don't like to sit through boring stories that aren't animated well but yours is acceptable... cause its awesome. You even inspired me to make a sprite movie with a serious story with different sprites... but then i got lazy and just went back to my comedy. I would really like to send it to you cause it was going good. And now for some suggestions... i guess you could try to make your movies more like a movie. Like different camera angles, especially for the fights. If you haven't seen the little niki submission it is excellent. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/155876 Though I know you can't do much camera angles with the final fantasy sprites you could still do close-ups... I guess. Also you could have those little talking bar things at the bottom to make it seem more like the game. Thats all I can think of everything else is perfect.
